Artforum announced the passing of Markus Raetz this week at the age of 79: https://www.artforum.com/news/markus-raetz-1941-2020-82756 His sculpture "Metamorphoses II" became part of the collection in 1993 & depicts both a rabbit and man with a hat depending on your viewpoint.

Two artworks from the Collection were recently featured at Fergus McCaffrey's presentation of "Jasper Johns: Usuyuki" in his Tokyo gallery space. The titles of the acrylic collage & silkscreen artworks translate to "light falling snow" and are exemplary of Johns' investigations into impermanence.
