Brussels has conquered a place in the #top50 of the Schroders Global Cities Index. In one year only, the Belgian capital moved up 35 places in the ranking and went from 84th place to 49th place. The main reasons for this leap are its high-ranking universities VUB - Vrije Universiteit Brussel and ULB - Université libre de Bruxelles, which are both in the QS World University Rankings top 260 worldwide.
