TODAY!!! The Laurelton Fire Department is hosting their Chicken BBQ beginning at 11:00AM until all dinners are gone. This fantastic half chicken dinner includes salt potatoes, baked beans, roll and butter, all for $10.00! This is take-out only with a fast drive-through process. Sorry, but there are no walk-ups or seating for dining this time. Arrive early as we sold out 800 dinners in less than two hours during our last event. Today we had the honor to be present for the unveiling of the Lipson Cancer Institute - Unity Hospital at Rochester Regional Health new "Journey Bell." Here, those undergoing cancer treatments will ring the bell once at the beginning of their treatment and three times at the end. We were just a very small part of this project. Battalion Chief Gebo of the Ridge Road Fire District along with Michael Stoerger of Monroe County Fire Hockey got the funds and ideas to make this all... come together.
