Today at around 5pm the Florida Fire Department responded to a Car vs Pole motor vehicle accident (MVA) on S. Main Street. Crews were operating on scene for roughly an hour. Thank you to all the Volunteers that responded!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Officers & Members of the Spring Valley Fire Department and all the mutual aid companies assisting them in locating a miss...ing firefighter from the overnight fire at the Evergreen Court Home For Adults at 65 Lafayette Street in Spring Valley. The missing firefighter was attempting to rescue one of the several occupants of the building that were trapped on the upper floors. See more

At 2:17am the Florida Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 93 randell street.Upon arrival Car 1 advised a fully involved structure and transmitted a 2nd alarm. First arriving crews assembled master streams and multiple hand lines to put the fire out. We would like to thank Warwick, Slate Hill, Goshen, Pine Island, and our standby companies for the assistance.
