We are gathering (cautiously) this Sat 13:00 at East Hill to take a look at Noble Flight Sim set-up. This sim was created by EHFC graduate Austin Fang; https://www.nobleflightsim.com He will also be flying his new SR-22 up from NYC.

Congratulations to Zack Knewstub, who flew his first solo on February 25th. Great job!

East Hill Annual Meeting (socializing!) The board members running were re-elected and Eric reported the FAA 141 certification is completed. Dollar-wise the club borrowed $100K to manage expenses during this tough year and another $27K for payroll (that should be forgiven by the CARES act). Everything looks good for beginning recovery this spring.

Icing is a particularly relevant subject east of the Great Lakes (the "weather warehouse." A great article on the dangers of airframe icing on unprotected aircraft.

Did you know East Hill had an AA6-B Tiger for many years? Also notice the pump by the hangar (with our own in-ground fuel tanks which became a problem!)

We are all saddened by the untimely passing yesterday of our longtime East Hill member and good friend Oliver Habicht.
