We waited a little too long to close the cabin.. It was 5 degrees last night!

A beautiful Fall walk around the property.

A beautiful walk in the woods with Rose... and a couple of adorable baby squirrels find some bird food.

This was a week to get some much-needed work done! The cabin needed power washing and sealing. Tim did a great job, as always, and it looks beautiful. Then we had a guy come and bush hog the meadow. Apparently, if that's not done every 2-3 years, you end up with a forest. It looks beautiful , too. It will probably all be grown back up by the next time we come up, less the shrubs and small trees.

Located in Redfield, NY and close to the Salmon River Reservoir And the Salmon River. It's a semi-remote cabin, but the Reservoir is perfect for kayaking and other boating. It is within reach of many outdoor activities-fishing, swimming, and sight seeing. It's available as a getaway for our friends; all we ask is for the payment to the cleaning lady. Just let us know if you'd like to go!

A ferry ride out of Alexandria Bay to see the private islands of the Thousand Island region, with a stop at Boldt's Castle on Heart Island.

A visit to Sandy Island Beach State Park, which is 25 minutes away. It's a wonderful swimming beach on Lake Ontario.
