Help Us With Our Reopening!! While we are still awaiting details and directives regarding the conditions under which we will be able to reopen, we can now begin to plan in earnest for the day we will be able to welcome your return to FHPAC. You can help us in three vitally important ways: 1. Complete our reopening survey below. Your feedback will give us valuable information about what you, our valued patrons, need from us so that you feel safe and comfortable when in our ven...ue. 2. Make sure we have your correct mailing address and email address on file. That way you will never miss knowing what is going on at FHPAC. 3. Donate. Donations large and small keep us viable during shutdown and will ensure we can restart operations when the time comes. Reopening will only be allowed at a significantly reduced capacity. Donations are the only way we will be able to bring you exciting arts and entertainment at an affordable ticket price until we are returned to full capacity. Your contribution makes a major impact. Remembering Noel Coward Sir Noël Peirce Coward was an English playwright, composer, director, actor and singer, known for his wit, flamboyance, and what Time magazine called "a sense of personal style, a combination of cheek and chic, pose and poise". Coward attended a dance academy in London as a child, making his professional stage début at the age of eleven. As a teenager he was introduced into the high society in which most of his plays would be set. Coward achieved endur...ing success as a playwright, publishing more than 50 plays from his teens onwards. Many of his works, such as Hay Fever, Private Lives, Design for Living, Present Laughter and Blithe Spirit, have remained in the regular theatre repertoire. He composed hundreds of songs, in addition to well over a dozen musical theatre works (including the operetta Bitter Sweet and comic revues), screenplays, poetry, several volumes of short stories, the novel Pomp and Circumstance, and a three-volume autobiography. Coward's stage and film acting and directing career spanned six decades, during which he starred in many of his own works, as well as those of others.

Remembering Jim Morrison Together with Ray Manzarek, Morrison co-founded the Doors during the summer of 1965 in Venice, California. The band spent two years in obscurity until shooting to prominence with their number-one single in the United States, "Light My Fire", taken from their self-titled debut album. Morrison wrote or co-wrote many of the Doors' songs, including "Light My Fire", "Break On Through (To the Other Side)", "The End", "Moonlight Drive", "Wild Child", "The S...oft Parade", "People Are Strange", "Hello, I Love You", "Roadhouse Blues", "L.A. Woman", and "Riders on the Storm". He recorded a total of six studio albums with the Doors, all of which sold well and received critical acclaim. Morrison was well known for improvising spoken word poetry passages while the band played live. Manzarek said Morrison "embodied hippie counterculture rebellion". He died in Paris at the age of 27. #rocknroll #doors #music See more

Celebrating Pablo Picasso Pablo Ruiz Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist and theatre designer who spent most of his adult life in France. Regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore. Among his most famous works are the proto-Cubist Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907), and Guernica (1937), a dramatic portrayal of the bombing of Guernica by German and Italian air forces during the Spanish Civil War.
