Join us for a STEWARDSHIP DAY tomorrow, SATURDAY, OCT. 24 at 10:00 a.m. to make an impact in the park you can see right away! Sign in with the park's horticulture staff at the Broadway Greeting Garden entrance at Arden Street. Wear long pants, sturdy shoes, and your mask - and bring a filled water bottle. History shows us that just being in a garden can provide comfort. In the midst of the pandemic, many people have found comfort in the restorative power of Fort Tryon Park's Heather Garden, Alpine Garden, and Broadway Greeting Gardens. #FortTryonGardenTherapy
This past week, Fort Tryon Park's horticulture staff and dedicated volunteers made headway removing invasive plants near Billings Arcade. The park needs help, so please join us on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. to help us make an impact! Wear your mask and pack a full water bottle. Gloves and tools will be provided. Sign in at Fort Tryon Park's entrance to the Heather Garden. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
