A few photos to remind us of the weather we are about to leave as we head back north to East Aurora! Zack, Bandol and Eyecatcher soon will be back with their pal Elivia, while Happy Colours will stay in Florida for a bit longer with his awesome new owner.

A huge congrats to the Hall/Feddersen family on the purchase of Happy Colours! It’s a fabulous match, and we look forward to following this promising team!

Day 3.... progress!

This lucky horse is now being ridden by the most awesome rider in Wellington (my opinion of course) Caleb Scroggins, who is riding his huge Tempe changes and pirouettes. Thanks Caleb, you are doing a fabulous job with this talented horse. The future is bright! (And he is for sale; with great reluctance, I am reducing my herd).

We have an 8 stall barn attached to our indoor arena that is available to rent this winter. Keep your horses working throughout the winter in our 60 by 190 ft indoor with top footing! All riding styles are welcome. Our facility is beautiful and well maintained. [email protected]

Thanks to Vera Kessels for another outstanding clinic Friday and Saturday. We have one more day....tomorrow...many breakthroughs and very happy students. Great hard working rides everyone. The pictures do not do justice to the effort or the results. Thanks Kate Boldt, Christine Standish, Barb Karrer, Liz Schaab, Marie Vitullo, Sandy Hider, Lori Wolf, Lucretia Galbraith, Breanne Bookhout, Christine Gozelski, Kaylea Neveroski, and everyone else who rode as well as the many who supported, cheered, groomed, brought snacks, videoed, and helped. It’s great to have a community interested in this fine sport. Please note: the very last of the season has been rescheduled from 10/31-11/1 to 10/28-29.

Vera Kessels comes again in one week for a dressage clinic at our farm. We asked her to come monthly so that we had a consistent program, rather than "clinic hopping" with multiple instructors, which is both confusing and not always the best investment. She had made good on that monthly schedule, and this is the fifth clinic of the season! The feedback has been tremendously positive. While we got off to a rocky start due to COVID, we are now allowing auditors by advance reservation and with masks and it has worked out really well. The dates of the upcoming clinic are Sept. 25-27. We will start at 12 or 1 on Friday and at 8 am Sat and Sunday. Please let me know if you want to ride or audit. We have just one or two riding spots left. Hope to see you!

Congrats to all the riders who turned out yesterday to support Sue Williams and Chestnut Eidge Equestrians Ride for Roswell. It was a great day and a very successful fundraiser. Thanks in no small part to Liz Doherty and Dick Wolin, who were the sponsors for the event. It’s hard not to support Roswell but I understand that this sponsorship was very significant and they deserve a huge shout out!! Our team had three riders present, Kaykea Marie, Deb Jerge and Christine Gozelski, who all did very well. Christine broke into first level with her horse Forbes and came away with super excellent scores. Well done everyone. And go Roswell.
