http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000309882 A perfect day with Idina Menzel as the Celebrity Ambassador for FGHHCF!
SCOPE (another group that FGHHCF has taken care of for 13 years) SCOPE opens the door to summer camp opportunities to inner-city children, not only from their headquarters in the New York Tri-State area, but also through their affiliates in the Midwest, Southeast and Southwest regions and throughout the United States with the goal of inspiring and empowering children to make positive contributions to their communities and become self-sustaining adults.

This is a group of dance teachers that the FGHHCF hired to teach the kids at Camp Felix to dance and interact with each other. It is boys and girls learning to behave respectfully and partnering with each other.
Just wanted to let everyone see some of the camping experiences that have taken place this summer. One of our extremely proud moments are when we send "Freddy’s Kids" to Camp Vacamas. These children are all from Carver Center in Port Chester, N.Y. The children in the photos know that they are Freddy's Kids and they meet and greet our board members (seen here Sandy Samberg and Leslie Gabler) The fund presents each child with a backpack filled with camp items ..towels, socks, flashlights, toothbrushes, sunblock, insect repellant, sharpie markers for labeling, etc. This year, they each hugged the board members and said "thank you for sending us to camp". More stories to come.......
