We asked TADA students what their favorite thing about the Department of Theatre and Dance was. One student said my favorite thing about our department is the supportive faculty. I have never felt that I could not reach out to my professors for help, advice, or resources. They make me feel that I am able to achieve many things in this industry as long as I stick to my craft and work hard. If you’re interested in supporting student theatre, tickets for our productions are available at http://bit.ly/tadatix

Announcing the $21 in '21 Campaign! We're looking for 1,000 people: alumni, friends, and lovers of Theatre and Dance, to help us raise $21,000 in 2021! If you'd like to help us bring the professional world to our students, to provide them with invaluable experiences above and beyond their daily curriculum, and to offer them the financial support they need, this is your chance! A gift of just $21 will support upcoming guest artist residencies, Departmental workshops, professi...onal development for both students and faculty, and (of course) student scholarships! Contributions to the Department's Unrestricted Fund can be made here: https://give-to-fredonia.formstack.com/forms/affinity Give today & help us to reach our goal! If you are unable to give, please like & share to help us expand our reach! #$21in21 #fredtada #fredoniatheatre #fredoniadance

The department of Theatre and Dance's first online production of William Shakespeare's Macbeth will go live on January 1 2021 at midnight. This first run will be at limited time only until February 15 and then will be locked in the TADA vault. Please join us in celebrating the hard work of all the artists that put together this amazing production. You can see the countdown on Youtube at https://youtu.be/kCFite1vMFU. We are asking for a "pay as you can" donation. To donate, fill out the form at the link below. We will use these proceeds to offset the costs of the production and help produce works next semester. https://give-to-fredonia.formstack.com/forms/affinity
Costume Construction II was fortunate to start a final project today on careers in costume technology with two Fredonia alumns! Thank you Elizabeth Krzyzanowski (B.A. 2013) and Anna Slocum(B.F.A 2012) for participating and to Anna Slocum (pictured) for our zoom conversation and virtual tour of the John Kristiansen Studio in NYC. #fredworks
