Violence against women in Puerto Rico cannot stand. The government’s continued failure to seriously address this most important issue cannot stand. All government officials should immediately resign in disgrace. We all deserve better. Women deserve better. Our moms, grandmothers, aunts and daughters deserve better. It’s time to construct a new, free, independent nation where discrimination and gender violence does not prevail. Un país mucho mejor que lo que tenemos hoy día es posible. Pa’lante.

On Friday, October 30, 2020, El Frente Independentista Boricua presented a screening of the documentary "1950 La Insurreccion Nacionalista" as a Zoom event. This is the first of two segments of the presentations and discussion that accompanied the screening. Members of the Puerto Rican community in New York today confronted longshot presidential candidate and bitcoin billionaire Brock Pierce at an event in Manhattan to oppose his support for Puerto Rican statehood and his bitcoin dreams for the island.
