Always remember this. Throughout history, the devil has ALWAYS overplayed his hand. He attempts to put a stop to Christians as individuals, churches and cities as a whole by sending sickness, calamity, heartache, political upheaval, economic unrest, etc. What ends up happening on a larger scale is that instead of numbers of people getting angry, disillusioned, etc., and walking away from their faith, there's an INCREASE of God's presence. His people become even MORE flint hea...ded resilient, spiritually stubborn, and their fire grows instead of wanes. Then even more numbers of people turn to God in the calamity that the evil one sends (not his plan, trust me). When the dust settles, satan expects to see nothing but dust on the ground, but he ends up witnessing an army of God's people standing armed & dangerous, as opposed to fallen, anemic & weak. See Acts 8:4. Because of a (demonic government influenced) persecution, Philip "escaped" to Samaria where the most powerful, evil, warlock lived and controlled that city. When "the dust settled" He was one of us. Acts 8:8 says, "So there was great joy in that city." A city where a demon possessed trickster, snake oil salesman was in charge and ALL that changed. Trust me, Lucifer NEVER saw it coming. The devil ALWAYS overplays his hand. NEVER forget it. See more
