Fruits de Vine Jams and Jellies

It's crabapple steaming time again. Given how much jelly goes out the door these days, I'm thankful for all of the apples. Enjoy this fall day. Cold is just ahead.

Guess what we're cooking and stocking up on...it's sampler time again! The plan this year is to have 500 packs ready to go out the door by Nov. 1. Holidays will be here before we know it.

I am in search of black currants. I had a few but they are not mature enough yet to have a large crop. Requests for jelly are many but the berries are few! Please message me if you have some you are going to use. I will gift you with some jelly once it is made.

Fruits de Vine finally has signage again! The old sign is officially retired. Yay! (Sorry about the poor picture quality. My phone camera doesn't like bright sunshine.)

The cool rainy weather this spring really brought on the rhubarb. This is the ruby red variety, that typically has smaller stalks, that I prefer for rhubarb jam. It makes a nice red color that's more appealing. 24 3/4 lbs is now in the freezer!

The brochure is updated a little with two new flavors added to the order form. Blueberry Rhubarb was a special request and people like it so I will continue to carry it. All the rain is making the rhubarb grow like crazy! Strawberry Rhubarb is one of the most popular flavors. Plain Rhubarb jam is yummy too. Tomato jam is also new. Credit/debit card payments will also be new as soon as I finish setting that up. Have a good day!

It's gift time again and the sampler packs are getting wrapped! These are a really popular item and an early order is helpful. In addition, the work area is graced with this cactus that is a sight to behold! The carpet of blooms is truly breathtaking. God's simple pleasures of color and beauty help to brighten the work day.
