****ADOPTED **** This beautiful and sweet girl is Sapphire. She is a 3-5yr old pit bull. Sapphire came to us running the streets of Middletown almost 1y...r ago. We believed she was used for a "bait dog" because she was painted pink. We later found she was a house pet, painted by the children she lived with. Her owners refused to come and get her because we had her spayed while she was here. Sapphire gets along with most dogs, loves people and is an all around great dog. Recently, Sapphire had 3 approved applications and each time, the family did not come to get her. We are so sad for poor Sapphire and don't want her spending any more time in a shelter.
