From eight years ago today. Rob Maloy fought for his first amateur title belt in MMA after only 4 fights. He fought against someone who was on a seven-fight win streak. Rob joined Fusion Mixed Martial Arts dojo after coming to one of our Christmas party with his friend. He told me wanted to fight and within six months transform his out-of-shape 180 lbs body to a lean mean fighting machine. A lot of people would come to me and ask me to train them and they can't even make it t...o the first class or have the discipline to be mentally and physically strong. Rob jump right into the MMA cage after only 6 months of training. It also helped that he was a correctional officer and a former elite high school wrestler. Due to life circumstances, he quit for about threes year after which he came back and trained like an animal for three months and choked out his opponent in the first round to win a title belt for Fusion Mixed Martial Arts dojo.
