Good afternoon everyone! With spring soccer comes lots of rain! A lot have reached out on whether or not soccer is still on for tonight. Hopefully this will help answer some questions. Coaches, If you are coaching a team in the 3/4 or 5/7 division, we don’t feel that it is necessary for you to have them play in the rain. Feel free to reach out to your parents and to let them know along with your next practice. Coaches for 8/10 and 11/13 divisions. Canceling practice will be a...t your discretion. If parents have not heard from your coach, please reach out. We understand the spring weather is unpredictable. Canceling every time due to rain could lead us to not having a season, however the safety, happiness and love of the sport is our #1 priority. Now that we have officially kicked off the season for practice and opening day us approaching, just a little reminder: Please be mindful of the speed limit when pulling in/out. Much like soccer, baseball and football also have families that play and there are often children throughout the fields and parking lots. Additionally, when you arrive at the soccer fields, please be mindful of the limited parking we have. The white lines below indicate the rows and the purpl...e is the road. Please make sure you are parking closely together to maximize the space we have but also not blocking the roadway. Thank you! FYSL Board

Just a few housekeeping guidelines for our upcoming season! In order for FFYSL to have a season we have to work closely with the county and adhere to the guidelines that are given by both county and state. In a previous FB post, it stated that this season is underway with players not having to wear a face mask which raised lots of excitement, especially for our young players, but also rose a lot concern. In order to be in compliance with the guidelines given, masks must be... worn by both players and spectators when a physical distance can not be maintained. Please know that we are trying our best to give our young players something positive to look forward to. If any parents/coaches/players have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We all know that the guidelines regularly change and we are doing out best to implement the most recent guidelines. Furthermore, in order for us to have a successful season there are a few things that we are asking from the members of our organization as we gear up to start. 1- If you are not feeling well, please stay home. 2- Before arrival, please make sure you are doing an at home COVID Screening 3-Make sure you are bringing your OWN water bottle and come ready to play 4-If you are having reservations and concerns about your child playing soccer this year due to COVID-19, we understand! Everyone is doing what they feel is best for their family and within their level of comfort. Whether you are going to in-person school or participating in a youth sport, the risk associated with possibly being exposed to COVID-19 is there. Our fall season quickly follows and we will remain optimistic that more families will be within their level of comfort to participate. A friendly reminder.... These may not be the "rules" that you personally may agree with, but these are the rules set in place. So lets do our best to comply and give our kids some soccer fun. Because we were down so many coaches this season, those that have ...stepped up to coach, are still receiving their roster and equipment. We've asked them to reach out to you by the end of the week. Thank you to everyone who came to Checkers Out last night for open registration and for everyone who sent their soccer forms in via mail or email! We had a great turn out!! Just a reminder for anyone who is thinking about signing their children up for Fonda Youth Soccer, today is the last day to to get the registration in before re...gistration goes from $50 to $70. We will be at Checkers Out Speedwaytonight from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for in person registration. Come out grab some dinner, and get your children registered for soccer! The registration form can also be accessed from our Facebook page and submitted through email to [email protected], and the payment can be made through PayPal using the same email address! WE ARE IN IN NEED OF COACHES FOR ALL AGE GROUPS! IF YOU COACH YOUR FIRST CHILD PLAYS FOR FREE!

Lawn Care A message from the President: It has been a true learning experience stepping into the huge shoes that the former President had...especially during these unprecedented COVID times. I'm really proud to say that even though we didn't have a season in Spring of 2020, and our Fall Skills season was significantly lower in numbers, we managed to bring in some new sponsorships. Lastly, as you probably noticed above, the Presidency role will be vacant in the very near future. I have decided to step down for the time being as we welcome another new baby into the Anderson household next Spring. It's a lot of rewarding work being the President, but I know that I won't be able to devote the time needed. So we welcome any new interest in joining the board, it really is a fantastic team to be a part of. Thank you to my husband and family for spending countless hours at the fields this summer. Little did they know what came with me being on the board :-) And thank you to everyone that has supported me this year, both on the board and off. It's been a truly rewarding experience! Just a reminder that tonight is the last night of our 2020 Fall Skills season. For parents tonight, when you arrive at the field, please stop in between the sheds to get your child's shirt and end of season gift. We are going to be doing a group shot of everyone in their shirts, so please make sure your kiddo has their mask!
