Sauté - the first jump we learn in ballet class. Here are our 6-7 year old students practicing! In early childhood dance classes, we emphasize building coordination and awareness of the body to master large motorskills like simply jumping on two feet, skipping and leaping. These building blocks don’t just help with ballet later on but with overall health and athleticism for any sport! Starting in Ballet 1 we begin to emphasize more precision with these basic movements, such as correct body alignment, stretched feet and musicality. It’s no easy task BUT the results of their hard work will be well worth it!

The holidays are hectic but you can still keep dancing! We offer open classes for ages 6 and older in between the fall and winter sessions.
