It is with deep regret that FDNY announces the line of duty death of Firefighter William N. Tolley. Firefighter Tolley, 42, was assigned to Ladder 135 and brave...ly served the Department for 14 years. Firefighter Tolley was critically injured while fighting a 2-alarm fire in Queens. He was transported to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. Firefighter Tolley is survived by his wife, Marie, and his daughter, Isabella. He is the 1147th member of the Department to make the Supreme Sacrifice while serving our city. See more

Message from the Wellsville Department of Public Works East Pearl Street will be closed between Loder Street and Railroad Avenue starting 7:00 AM Monday April 10, 2017 through Friday April 14, 2017 for repair work to the railroad drainage near the tracks. Traffic should use Loder Street to Martin Street to Railroad Avenue and back to East Pearl Street as a detour. Sign will be in place in both directions.
