Geneva Laundry Depot owner Chuck Hinkel is featured in a Rochester Business Journal story this week!

Today Laundry Depot presented a check to Trevor’s Gift for $141 for their backpack program which provides food to needy children to take home on the weekends during the school year. In December, we donated 10% of our Wash & Fold Service profits at both Geneva & Waterloo locations to Trevor’s Gift. Our $141 donation will feed 10 kids for an entire month!!

An early Christmas Present.......Our Outdoor sign above the front of our entrance is back working!!!! After being on back order for two months, the parts finally came in and were installed this afternoon!!

We held our Laundry Deposit employee Holiday party this afternoon at our Waterloo location. We held a White Elephant Christmas exchange and it was a bunch of fun. From our families to your families Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!!!

Busy day today.....we fixed our 45lb dryer, the part for the 50lb washer should be here tomorrow and installed in the morning, AND we installed 2 more debit/credit card systems on the 22lb white front load washers. Now there are 3 of the 22lb washers that have our debit/credit card system.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Geneva!!!! Today marks the 1-year Anniversary of the opening of our Geneva Laundry Depot Laundromat. To say it’s been a challenging year is a major understatement. With that said, we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished at this store the first 12 months. We did a complete renovation of the store, maneuvered through a pandemic, and watched customers from 20 different communities come to do their Laundry on a regular basis. Year 2 looks to be promising on many levels as we continue to grow the business, offer exceptional customer service and a customer loyalty program, and become even more involved in making the Geneva community a better place through our charitable donations.

It’s been a busy couple days at Geneva Laundry Depot.....Today we got a NEW furnace installed. Thank you Andy Brown Plumbing and HVAC.

Good morning Geneva!! Lots of information to share this morning. First, we had our floors on the attendant office/customer service lounge side cleaned and waxed for Winter last night. They look awesome!! Second, while getting our furnace cleaned and read for Winter last Thursday we learned that it has major issues. This morning you will see Andy Plumbing and HVAC installing a new furnace in the Laundromat.... Thirdly, we are installing 2 more debit/credit card readers on the white 22lb front load washers on Tuesday. We will also both the 45lb dryer and the 50lb washer that are currently out of order fixed on Tuesday as well. We will continue to make improves for our customers. Thank you for your your patience and for making us the Laundromat of the Finger Lakes Region!!!

Attention Customers: The only way this happens is if you try to open the washer when the door is locked!! While mistakes happen.....However, it’s not ok to break a machine and then just leave and not tell an attendant or leave a note for us under our office door. The person who did this obviously doesn’t respect our property or business. We WILL find out who did this when we watch our security cameras and post it on this Facebook page so customers can share the video so we can identify the person. They won’t be welcome in the Laundromat anymore. These machines cost a lot of money and we don’t appreciate this.

The new debit/credit card systems have arrived! We will be adding the system onto 2 more of the white 22lb front load washers on Tuesday. That will give us 3 white 22lb front load washers with the system along with all 4 of our 62lb washers and our 3 new 50lb washers as well. We currently have 6 of our new 45lb reversible dryers with the system as well.

Some Great News!!! Starting Sunday, September 20 Geneva Laundry Depot is expanding Wash & Fold and Attendant hours on Sunday’s!! Our Customer Service hours will go from 9am-1pm to 9am to 2pm.........which will make our Customer Service/Wash & Fold hours 9am to 2pm 7 days a week moving forward!!

Good Morning Geneva!! The new entrance construction is COMPLETED!! Coming to the Laundry is so much easier now. Gone is the old broken curb and front door entrance. We continue to make improvements to make your experience at Geneva Laundry Depot better and better!! Come check us out!!

Laundry Depot is excited to announce a new partnership with Hobart and William Smith Colleges!! Starting Monday, Laundry Depot will be doing weekly Laundry for 200 students as the colleges practice new and safe social distancing rules. Both of our locations (Geneva and Waterloo) will be involved in this endeavor. We welcome back all the college students to Geneva and are happy to be a partner with the Colleges and helping them making it a safe, clean environment for the students!!

Happy Saturday Geneva!! Thank you to all our customers for your patience during construction of our new entrance. The front entrance is still open and our back entrance is open as well for customers. If the weather cooperates it will be completed on Monday!!! Once everything is done we will be implementing Laundry drop-off spots at our front entrance so customers can pull up and drop-off their laundry before parking their cars. Should be really cool!!

Day 2 of NEW sidewalk work.....YES we are still open!!!

Good Morning Geneva!!!! We have VERY exciting news!!! They started work this morning on our new entrance to the Laundromat!!! The old broken curb is getting removed and a brand new one with no lip will be installed. Work will last throughout the rest of the week so please excuse the dust and the barricades. The front entrance is still open and you can still pull up but the walk will be a little longer until this work is done. Thank you for your patience and we appreciate your business.
