We are SO grateful for our teachers, teacher aides, and teacher assistants at Genesee Valley. They have been thrown about a hundred curveballs this year with new technology, hybrid learning, schedule changes, safety procedures, quarantinesyou name it! Through it all they have demonstrated their creativity, compassion, resolve, and resilience as they have sought the best for their students. #GVTeachersRock #ThankATeacher

We’d like to give a shout out to GV senior Riley Gordon! Riley plans to enter the workforce as a Lineman (Union 1249). In school Riley has participated in baseball, basketball, soccer, and trap club. Best of luck to you in your future, said Mrs. Scott-Schneider. I hope all your dreams come true. You will be missed on all of the playing surfaces. You've always had a way of making those around you smile with your quick sense of humor, commented Mrs. Slawson. It's amazing... how much you have grown as a student and young man since the time I had you in Middle School. Your work ethic will take you far in life. I am so glad to be able to spend one last baseball season with you before you go! Good luck Riley, and always remember don't ‘throw away your shot.’ Congratulations and best of luck in your future Riley, added Mrs. Scholes. You have worked hard, set expectations for yourself, and are determined to live a successful and independent life. I will miss your smile and personality next year. Mrs. Scott shared: Riley, there is never a dull moment when you are around! Thanks for always keeping me on my toes and making me laugh. It’s been a pleasuring having you in class. Good luck in all of your future endeavors!
First graders in Mrs. Zlomek's class wrote about their favorite holiday and then illustrated their story. It looks like Christmas narrowly edged out Easter as the favorite this year!
