Can Kings Fredonia Can and Bottle Redemption

Can Kings is sponsoring a local family in need this holiday season. An anonymous local family of five has fallen on hard times and is in desperate need of our communities help. We will be collecting donations of cash , gift cards , non perishable food , and gifts for a 5 year old girl, an 8 year old boy , and an 18 year old boy. Donations can be made at either Can Kings location ( Fredonia or Silver Creek) now thru Monday December 21st. The true spirit of Christmas is giving without a thought of receiving.

We are profiling the recipients of our 2020 Ability Awareness Awards. Today we salute our Employer of the Year, Can Kings Fredonia Can and Bottle Redemption, an...d Owner Marcus Promber. Working with our Supported Employment Program, Can Kings conducts vocational assessments of people with disabilities who are seeking employment. One of those assessments resulted in a job offer, and that person, Donald, has been successfully employed since June 2018. Can Kings is an essential business, and when the pandemic arrived Donald initially had reservations about coming to work. Marcus told Donald to take as much time off as he needed, then readily accepted him back once Donald felt comfortable working again.
