Nothing like a good laugh. Our NY governor, who imagines that reopening the theatres involves nothing more than buying a ticket, may require a little insight into what theatre professionals actually do. https://tinyurl.com/dh8a95er

Inspiration is often found in unlikely places. Particularly in the arts. On this date in 1865: Mrs Patrick Campbell, the actress famous for creating roles such as Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion (1914), was born Beatrice Tanner in London. Her stage name came from her elopement in 1884 with a Patrick Campbell and she kept it despite a later marriage as well as a well-documented relationship with the playwright George Bernard Shaw.

Our last Speaker's Corner workshop was a virtual heavenly delight. Mallory Jane Weiss continues to amaze and delight and surprise us at every turning. Thanks to everyone for making HOWL FROM UP HIGH such a blast. More to come!
