From beginning to end, it took 8 full hours to create this Reuben for you. Our cooks could use the shortcuts that everyone else uses, but we have three core beliefs here at Gino's: - Anything worth doing is worth doing right. - More is more.... - The more napkins used, the better the meal.

One of our new regulars came into the restaurant before we opened today, she just came to chat - we love when regulars stop in to say hi. She sat at the bar as we opened up. While she was here, our cook came out to ask what sandwich he should start making for our daily social media post (the cooks call it "the daily sexy sandwich photo") Our regular instantly shouts "THE BELLYFILLER - IT'S THE WORLD'S MOST PERFECT SANDWICH. Central New York's favorite fish sandwich is exclusively at Gino's on Fridays! We have fish dinners and sandwiches, but this is our Cape Cod Reuben - this is the sandwich you have naughty dreams about. Fresh fried Haddock with Coleslaw, Swiss & store-made 1000 Island Dressing (yes, we make it in-house and it's to die for)!

This sandwich was made for a customer, but it was made incorrectly. We accidentally added mushrooms. After we remade the sandwich, we sent this fella to the Island of Misfit Cheesesteaks. What's the Island of Misfit Cheesesteaks, you ask? Imagine a magical place where unwanted cheesesteaks frolic together and live in cheesy harmony. If you close your eyes, you can almost see it, can't you?

We just discovered that our time clock system had the ability to send messages to an employee when they clock-in. It's meant to be used for "hey, do this, not that from now on" type of purposes. But we got thinking, what would happen if we used it to tell our employees how great they are instead!?!?

A messy Pizza Steak is a good Pizza Steak... FYI, we fry our pepperoni and they become little spicy meat chips!

This is what happens when you tell the staff "do whatever you want with the pumpkins" It's our fault, we should have known better...
