GJ Mann Staff members were surprised when they came into school today. Our school partner The First Assembly of God Church treated all teachers to an amazing morning of treats and goodies to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day. Mrs. Pirolli’s 2nd grade class learned all about Cinco de Mayo today. They focused on the culture and made cute hats that they decorated. They had so much fun!!

Today GJ Mann hosted Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra assistant conductor Jaman Dunn. His presentation was about how the orchestra plays- slow, fast, loud and soft. He led the kindergarten, first grade and second grade students in listening exercises and even led a conducting activity. Thank you to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Maestro Dunn, teachers and students for a great afternoon of music listening and conducting!

GJ Mann Extended Day!! The Boys and Girls Club is looking to expand their program! Need time after work, have running around to do? We are here to help your child learn and have a fun time. We do crafts, play games, go outside and walk the track and play kickball and football. Need more information, please feel free to contact Ms. Krystle at (716)990-5215 or you may call the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club. $10.00 yearly membership fee. $45.00 Monthly Fee from 7:00-9:00am. $40.00 Monthly fee from 3:00-6:00pm.

Important Information: GJ Mann will be holding our annual book fair in a safe and socially distant way! There are two easy ways to buy: 1. Your child will visit the book fair with their teacher. They can pay with cash, credit card or a student eWallet. 2. You can visit our GJ Mann website and visit our Book Fair Homepage were you can order books online or set up an e-wallet for your child to use in school. The book fair will be April 19-April 23. A flyer will be coming home tomorrow with more information.
