NFA Football meeting is tonight at 7pm for all student athletes who are interested in playing football at the high school level this upcoming fall or next fall. This meeting will provide information about start dates and eligibility and physical clearance. Any student athlete who are middle school or high school level are welcome to attend. Join us May 19th for our 2nd annual #HVGives campaign! We had an extremely successful campaign last year, and thanks to all of your support we were able to accomplish so much during a time where we didn't think that would be possible. We still have so much to do, and we can't do it without you!!

All flag games for today have been rescheduled to the following date and times: Mighty Mites and D1 Tuesday April 13th 6pm D2 and D3 Wednesday April 14th 6pm

Until you've coached Mighty Mites, you can't truly appreciate the effort it takes to teach our kiddos the fundamentals of football at such a young age. We need volunteer coaches! Our flag season is quickly approaching and the teams are almost full! Turn out has been amazing for our first ever flag season. Surprisingly the interest in coaches has been very low. We need coaches in order to have a successful season and provide the very best for our players. We are looking for coaches at all divisions. Goldback Nation, This Tuesday our school board will be voting on high risk sports for Fall II which include Football, Cheerleading, and volleyball. During this difficult time many student athletes in neighboring school districts with more financial means have been able to hire private trainers to keep their sons and daughters active and in shape and also been able to partake in private sports teams. Many in our district cannot afford these same opportunities and as a result... our student athletes with less resources have sat home and waited patiently which makes this decision even more important. We believe it’s even more critical that our district tries to fill in the gap in give our student athletes some of the same opportunities. We also know that almost all schools in orange county are partaking in the fall2 athletics in the next week or so. We would like the same opportunities for our sons and daughters. NYS has approved high contact sports, guidance has been given to the section on how handle athletics during this time. We simply would like our kids to have the same opportunities as neighboring districts. We understand that parents may have different view points on this topic. We would like the families that do want their sons and daughters to compete in their sport to have that option. Just in time for the holidays, our very last fundraiser for 2020! Once again, we are so grateful for all of the support we received during this year, and to wrap things up we are raffling off a "Basket of Joy" containing 16 premium spirits to make these strange times a little merrier! Tickets are $10.00 each (plus a $1.00 online processing fee) and can be purchased through the link provided, once your ticket is purchased you will receive and email with a picture of your ticket and numbers! As we come into the last hours of our final fundraiser for 2020, we want to thank all of our parents and supporters for helping us to successfully fundraise, even though we didn’t get to have a 2020 season. We were able to accomplish more this year than what we expected considering the restricted climate of this pandemic and it is because of the continued support we’ve received. For that, we are extremely grateful. There is still so much more we’d like to achieve, with that being said, our raffle is coming to an end. If you’d still like to show your support now is the time.
