Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center will be offering a virtual ZOOM First Time Around Prepared Childbirth Course on Saturday, May 15th from 9AM to 4PM. This essential supercourse prepares mothers and their coaches to safely manage early labor at home and prepares them for their upcoming labor and birth experience. Couples will learn what to expect in the Birthing Room; how to work as a team; breathing and relaxation techniques; medication options and how to care for themselves and their newborn child. Expectant parents attending the First Time Around Prepared Childbirth Course will come away feeling prepared and equipped for the experience that lies ahead. The past two years have been a difficult journey for 51-year-old Lisa Rivas. In the blink of an eye, she went from being an active mom juggling a full-time job, a home and a family, to a woman who was debilitated by pain and unable to do any of the things she loved.
