And while that sounds like a contradiction, an open concept floor-plan needs common threads to weave rooms together so they feel harmonious. What better way to do that than with color. Trend alert : Benjamin Moore just announced their color of the year 2021: Aegean Teal. I love this choice. Dusty green/blue tones have been emerging since the spring. And what a fresh new transition coming off navy and blush tones. This color is great for those rooms where you feel comfortable to take a risk: mudroom, laundry room, powder room. Best part of the day... when clients send home videos and say hi! . I loved working on this kitchen. A little piece of Trivia for you.... this used to be a laundry room. We converted it to a pantry/ coffee station. And Being that the ceiling height was different from the rest of the room, we vaulted the ceiling and accented the space with an orb style chandelier.
