AN UPDATE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS & MANAGEMENT ON COVID-19 AND HOW IT IS AFFECTING OUR SERVICES TO YOU We have been working under strict office protocols in accordance with CDC guidelines for the protection of our staff and visitors. These protocols include plastic partitions, social distancing, mask mandates and daily temperature checks. Nevertheless, we are experiencing a 2nd wave of COVID-19 and as a result we have temporarily modified our service availability for th...e protection of you and our staff. We will continue to monitor this situation and update you accordingly. We are LIMITING OFFICE WALK-IN TRAFFIC at the Reception area at the Management Office and at Security. EXTENDED MONDAY HOURS ARE SUSPENDED. NO WALK-INS WILL BE PERMITTED AT THE MAINTENANCE SERVICES OFFICE located in the Management Courtyard. If there is an emergency, you may enter the reception entrance located at 70-33 260th St. Most BUSINESS CAN BE CONDUCTED OVER THE PHONE OR BY E-MAIL. Although we have not locked our front doors, the reception office will remain open for urgent matters only, that cannot be handled over the phone or by email. Please call before showing up. We will allow one person in the office at a time. If it is determined that your business can be conducted over the phone or by email you will be asked to leave and perform your business in that manner. MAINTENANCE RESPONSES OTHER THAN EMERGENCIES AND URGENT MATTERS MAY BE LIMITED OR DELAYED. If your request is not an emergency or essential, please call and schedule your appointment for another time when we are fully staffed. DO NOT BRING MAINTENANCE PAYMENTS INTO THE OFFICE. Mail them in the envelope you receive with your maintenance bill or drop them off in the mail slot in front of the management office. Your cancelled check is your receipt. Today, we installed our new Management office awning. It covers the entire entrance landing, so when it rains or snows, visitors to the office will be able to close umbrellas, open the door, get their car keys, etc. without the effects of inclement weather on them.

Here is an opportunity to meet the 2 NYPD Officers assigned to our part of the 105th precinct and discuss security concerns and other police matters. Glen Oaks Village is part of Sector E and as with all NYPD precincts, each sector is assigned 2 Neighborhood Coordinating Officers (NCO's). On a quarterly basis each of the sectors has a Build The Block meeting, whereby the public and NYPD can interact.
