VOLUNTARY GLOBAL SUSPENSION OF CRUISING EXTENDED March 9th, 2021... Dear Valued Travel Partner, As the world continues to work towards a new normal, our primary goal continues to be a healthy return to service for our guests, crew and the communities we visit. While working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other local health and government authorities towards this shared goal, we are evaluating all current itineraries to ensure compliance with the new Conditional Sail Order. Celebrity Cruises will now be suspending global operations for all sailings departing on or before May 31, 2021. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes as we value your client's vacation time and want to ensure they have the best experience possible on a Celebrity cruise. At this time, we would like to offer your clients the opportunity to be re-accommodated on another Celebrity Cruise vacation or to receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) or a 100% Refund. Provided in the links below. Sincerely, Celebrity Cruises

UPDATE: Feb. 24 Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of All Departures through May and Disney Magic sailings through Aug. 10, 2021 Our team at Disney Cruise Line remains focused on the health and well-being of our Guests and team members. We are carefully preparing for a return to service following the guidelines issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As we continue to refine our protocols and await further technical guidance from the CDC, we ...are cancelling all sailings departing through May 2021. Given the likelihood of international borders remaining closed for an extended period of time, we have also made the decision to cancel Disney Magic sailings through Aug. 10, 2021. We are offering affected Guests who have paid their reservation in full the choice of a 125% future cruise credit* to be used for a future sailing prior to Sept. 30, 2022, or a full refund. The credit has automatically been added to your clients’ account and can be applied as a payment option when booking a new reservation online. Guests that have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far. Affected Guests and travel professionals will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line outlining details and next steps. Most Adventures by Disney Escape Packages that are booked in conjunction with one of these Disney Cruise Line vacations will also be cancelled. Travel Agents and Guests who are booked on one of these packages will receive a SeaMail and a phone call from Adventures by Disney. Guests who purchased an Adventures by Disney cruise package as part of the vacation will automatically receive a refund back to the original form of payment. SeaMails will be going out today. READ

For customers who don’t want to take the at-home test, Delta has set up dedicated COVID-19 testing locations and provided a full list of SkyTeam testing centers within the countries that member airlines serve. Delta also announced that travelers flying with the carrier whose destination requires a negative COVID-19 test would be able to directly upload and verify their documents at check-in through a new functionality.

Cruise Lines continue to cancel their sailings. All embarkations from U.S. homeports up to and including April 30, 2021 In addition, the following ship-specific itineraries: Mardi Gras up to and including May 22, 2021... Carnival Legend European itineraries up to and including October 31, 2021 Dear Travel Advisor Partner: Like other lines, Carnival has determined that we must extend our pause for U.S. embarkations and cancel sailings through the month of April. In addition, we must cancel itineraries on Mardi Gras and Legend, as referenced above. Your clients will be offered a future cruise credit (FCC) combined with a generous onboard credit (OBC), or a full refund. As we have done throughout this challenging time in our industry, we are protecting your commission on all bookings paid in full. Travel agent commissions are protected on the original fully paid booking cancelled by Carnival and on the final fully paid rebooking when an FCC is redeemed on an active sailing. Please see the booking information for your clients, as referenced below. To expedite notification, we have also sent a copy of this letter to your clients if we had an email address on file. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to welcoming your clients back on board very soon.

From Delta Vacations: In an effort to better help you navigate through the latest U.S. government’s new requirement for COVID-19 testing for all international arrivals, we are providing you with a list of frequently asked questions to ensure you have the latest information and to help support you in answering questions you may be receiving from your clients. We continue to work closely and quickly with our in-destination partners to make sure our mutual customers have a seaml...ess experience and peace of mind while on vacation. Many hotels are working to offer onsite testing and some are covering the cost of the test or exploring other options. As our hotel partners determine testing options for guests, we will ensure a full list of those participating hotels will be added to WorldAgent Direct in the coming days. Please remember to visit cdc.gov for the latest Center for Disease Control and Prevention updates. As a reminder, if your client is traveling after February 9th, please consider calling back at a later time for changes to allow those traveling sooner to get assistance as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience as we continue to learn more every day.

Aloha Garrett, Given the ever-evolving travel environment and Tuesday’s announcement from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding new international testing requirements, we felt it appropriate to address the impact to Hawaii’s Safe Travels Program and reiterate Hawaii’s entry protocols. First and foremost, despite not being part of the contiguous United States land mass, Hawaii is very much a State and not subject to these new CDC international tra...Continue reading
