No Affair Harvest Fair - Great Support from Parish, School and Community Our No Affair Harvest Fair campaign came to a close on Friday, October 16. While our total harvest is just over $30,000 as of October 20, there are online donations and checks still arriving. Hopefully, by early November we will be able to give a final number minus our expenses and do the raffle for the barbecue, donated by Massapequa Funeral Home. We hope you have taken notice of the ever-growing ...pumpkin patch by the flagpole, and we hope the community has taken notice to Grace Episcopal Church and Day School returning to life. This parish and day school is extraordinary - the planning committee put out a very high goal, and with help from our parish, friends of Grace and day school families, we have done the unthinkable. Normally, our Graceful Harvest Fair, attended by the community, raises approximately $27,000 towards expenses and ministries here at Grace. With the pandemic not allowing for our usual fundraiser to be held, our No Affair Harvest Fair was born - and we have raised more than any one of us dared to hope for!! How special and heartwarming - it shows how much love and caring there really is for Grace Episcopal Church and Day School. Many thanks goes to Nancy Mazzeo, Lori Caracappa, Barbara Staib, Donna Cynar, Kathy Roll, Carol Ann Brancato, Debi Csajko, Barbara Picken, Marie McAleer, Ken Cynar, John Caracappa, Lisa Beratis, Jaclyn Scott, Diane Winkler, Richie Csajko, Massapequa Funeral Home, and last, but certainly not least, all the donors from our parish families, day school families and friends of Grace. This event couldn’t be done without any one of you. Distribution of thank you gifts started the weekend of October 24 & 25, and we are still working to complete all the larger gifts due to the overwhelming donations received. While this was a different and successful event, we certainly look forward to resuming our Graceful Harvest Fair in the fall of 2021 if at all possible. The NO Affair Harvest Fair Committee

NO AFFAIR HARVEST FAIR Thank you gifts from the No Affair Harvest Fair will be distributed on the following days from the craft room on campus: - Saturday, October 24 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM... - Sunday, October 25 after both the 8 AM and 9 AM services - Saturday, October 31 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM More dates will be added if necessary. Unfortunately, not all of the larger gifts are completed due to the overwhelming response to our No Affair Harvest Fair campaign. We are thrilled, and we will continue completing the items until everyone is taken care of. The raffle of the barbecue, donated by Massapequa Funeral Home, will take place at the beginning of November when all online donations and checks are in and accounted for. "NO AFFAIR - HARVEST FAIR" We are drawing to a close of our No Affair Harvest Fair campaign, which ends Friday, October 16. We have 37 pumpkins in our pumpkin patch by the flagpole so the seeds of the harvest are growing. Our goal is the $27,000 that our annual Graceful Harvest Fair normally produces to help with bills and ministries, and we have received donations totaling $14,607 as of October 7. TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR THE NO AFFAIR - HARVEST FAIR - What exactly is a No Affair Harvest Fair? It is a fundraising effort that provides with your donation a thank you gift or two or more; a free raffle ticket; recognition for your contribution and the everlasting gratitude from people of Grace Church allowing us to continue the programs and services we provide to the greater Massapequa community. Since we could not have our Fair this year, the No Affair is our way of r...aising funds to keep our Church and programs operating. Every donation, no matter the size - $1 or $5,000, will be entered in a raffle for a barbeque donated by Massapequa Funeral Home. All donors will be recognized with a family pumpkin in the front lawn Pumpkin Patch. All donations above $50 will receive Thank You gifts cumulatively. The No Affair Harvest Fair will run from September 21 through October 16, 2020.
