They offer a great atmosphere to meet new people or enjoy the sport with friends and family. During league there are no teams, everyone tries to achieve the best scores possible. They consist of 7 weeks of regular gameplay with the 8th week being a playoff, complete with a trophy for the champion. During the 7 weeks players come on their league day and throw 4 matches. If you miss a week, no problem, you can make up your games on another league day. Playoff day is a double elimination tournament, if you get knocked out of A bracket you still have a chance to win by playing through B bracket to face the A bracket finalist for the win. AXE CHOICE: You may bring your own axe as long as it meets WATL specifications. If you are a novice thrower we suggest trying out different axes to find the one that works for you before you make a big purchase. House axes are always available to use. Hatchet League is $140.00 + tax - Yearly memberships are available Two league discount $200 + tax ($60 discount) - Combine any two leagues to receive a discount rate. One week away from Halloween!

Join us for Halloween! Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st. Rate per person is $20 instead of $35 and get a goodie bag of candy. Group sizes are 4-6 people, 6-12 people and 13-24 people.... We will have a costume contest. To enter show up and give a staff member your name, phone # and email. A winner will be chosen the week after Halloween. The top three people with the best costume will receive a free winter league fee. Winter leagues start January 2021. Choose between hatchet league, youth hatchet league or big axe league.

We are officially an affiliate of the World Axe Throwing League!!

At the end of very year WATL hosts the World Axe Throwing Championship, where throwers compete for a cash prize and glory of being the world champion. This year has been a heck of a time with many venues having to close due to the global pandemic, so qualifying for the big show is a little different. Venues that are able can host qualifier rounds for those who have played in 2019/2020 leagues or have attended a WATL tournament. The deadline for qualifying round submissions ...is September 28th, so at Grand Throw House we will be offering the opportunity to throw during the week of September 20th-26th. Fees are: $25 for hatchet $15 for big axe $30 for duals ($15 per team member) - Throwers will be allowed only one score submission per discipline - All throws must be recorded on video as backup or in case an audit is required (this is the responsibility of the thrower, venues are encouraged to help facilitate this) Because of the lack of leagues this year there are a few bids that are still available: * Standard Axe Bids Remaining: 63 * This number could possibly increase to 85 if we are unable to safely run Fall Leagues * Big Axe Bids Remaining: 32 * This number could possibly increase to 44 if we are unable to safely run Fall Leagues * Duals Bids Remaining: 30 * This number could possibly increase to 42 if we are unable to safely run Fall Leagues To schedule your qualifying throwing please call us at 716-404-9987 https://worldaxethrowingleague.com/2020-world-axe-throwing/ www.GrandThrow.com
