Blondie's home!!! On the ride home she made good use of the backseat armrest as a place to lay her head. And now she's resting comfortably in her own bed. Phew! It's been a tough few days, but thanks for all the well wishes! She still has a decent amount of recovery left ahead of her, and needs to live a more sedentary lifestyle going forward, but she's alive, well, happy, and has a good appetite again too!

Update on our Queen Blondie: She sure is a trooper and is currently residing at our vet. What originally looked like just a hip injury, is unfortunately something more severe...a possible blood clotting disorder (possibly tic-borne) that was triggered by her injuring her hip a few nights ago. With that said, the update today was promising...she is eating again, acting brighter than when she was originally brought in, and is being treated on a course of antibiotics, IV, and a couple of other supplements. We're still waiting on a few test results, but our spirits are higher knowing that Blondie is receiving the best care possible. Please continue to send your prayers her way, as she's not out of the woods yet, and needs all the good vibes she can get. Thanks everyone!

This is Blondie. Not only is she the sweetest dog you'd ever meet, she is also the reigning queen of our Grateful Paw family. My pup is not feeling well, and is currently battling what looks like a hip injury. She's putting on a brave face, but I know she's hurting. Please send loving, and healing vibes Blondie's way. I know she'd appreciate them.
