Valentine’s Day 2021. This day can be particularly difficult when your relationship is strained or you are getting divorced. The Hallmark reminder of romantic love can feel like too much. We see you. We celebrate other kinds of love today. The love of your children and your furry friends. The love of friends who are holding you up through this process. The love of co-workers who are with you day to day and want the best for you. The love you can give yourself by taking care of your own needs. If this day is spent thinking of how to get started and get out, we can help. You know where to find is. Happy Valentine’s Day. #selflove #nycdivorce #greenblattlaw #youareloved #divorcesupport
We had hopes going into 2021. Not high hopes of course, just hopes. Things certainly couldn’t get worse, right? Less than a week in we had new Covid death records every day and a terrorist attack at the Capitol. Add to that a bad relationship or divorce and your head is spinning. It’s definitely time to prioritize your self-care. If you don’t focus on your own health and needs, each day will be even harder. A spa day is always my first choice but that may be out of the question for you right now (thanks Covid) but there are other ways to relax and take your mind off all that is troubling you. A bubble bath, an hour alone with a good book or even a walk in the fresh winter air can help clear your head and refresh your soul. Share what’s helping you care for yourself these days. #selfcare #nycdivorce #takecareofyourself #refreshyourself
