Stylists! Want to learn more about hair loss?!? @crazyaboutangel is your girl!
Ok, so most people answered correctly. How often should you get haircut?.....QUARTERLY!!!!! (Um, 2 of@my clients answered Semi-annually, and they are INTROUBLE!!!! Lol Disclaimer*** So who makes all of these rules when it comes to hair anyway??? It’s NOT your stylist!... Nope! The rules are made by the hair itself. And if you’re in-tune enough with your strands, you’ll notice when the ends have frayed a bit, become dry and crispier than the rest of your hair, start getting little knots, or become otherwise tangled! Maybe your curls just aren’t poppin’ the way they used to, or maybe your style is gone , or it’s taking waaaaay too long to style it lately! these are all signs that it’s time for a trim! (By the way, haircut and trim both require shears and skill So, they’re the same, and no, there’s no price difference. Now, most everyone’s hair strand will split around 6-8 weeks, depending on the person. That’s no big deal. BUT, when you continue to go too long without cutting the split where it starts, you may start to have some of the problems mentioned above. So, I usually tell my salon guests to get a cut within 6-12 weeks, and MAX, 4 months. Sometimes what I see is that people want their hair to grow and thus, avoid trimming. BAD MOVE! They will take the 4-month MAX and stretch it That’s NOT hair that I want to see, or service!!!!! (Why?...because it makes the work a bit harder than it has to be especially depending on density and hair type) The easiest way to be a good candidate for color and other chemical services, is to trim REGULARLY. (At the salon!) To really take care of your hair, is to schedule the next appointment before you even leave the salon. Let’s be clear while we are here: if you don’t take trimming seriously, I’m likely not the stylist for you, as trimming regularly definitely solves many problems, and promotes the healthiest head of hair! p.s. I DO have some guests who understand ALLLLLL that I just said, and yet still don’t trim regularly, BUT, they are also not afraid to get the proper amount cut off when they come in! Ok, I’ll stop now! Lol Hope this helps!
It’s the perfect time of year to straighten your tight curls since there’s not much #HUMIDITY to fight with! Did you know: the secret to a silk press, and NOT damaging your curls, has to do with how well the hair is cared for year-round, and clarifying (yes, the C word -CLARIFYING- with real suds!)
Will YOU ask for something bold and different in 2021!?? https://www.townandcountrymag.com//a353/2021-hair-trends/
IN LOVE with this beautiful warm blonde!
......just me?? Stay safe everyone, and THANK YOU to everyone working hard out there during the storm!....AND....during 2020!
Are you getting a lot of these little knots in your hair lately?Have you been using more product, and taking longer to detangle because you haven’t trimmed in a while? NOTHING replaces the need to cut your hair regularly, and properly. Tell me down below, do you get a trim every quarter?...every Month?

No. No I do not. #RealLife The goal is always 1 haircut per appointment
The salon plant got a haircut too! I must admit, I procrastinated a little, because I didn’t want to cut off so many leaves. But it was looking pretty pitiful because of my neglect and the leaves were looking TIRED and crispy Sound familiar?.....The cure= ... #Thriving

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY has always been my goal! Im so sorry that it’s been difficult to get some of you scheduled! It’s not easy for a hairstylist to say NO to anyone, but it’s a new Covid reality The #GoodNews is, I am still doing video consultations and product recommendations, which have been successful when you’re overwhelmed by #YouTube myths or bogged down by unrealistic multi-faceted hair regimens. Also, I love referring guests to other quality-driven stylists in... the area! (Stylists, you can thank me with Starbucks ) I do all textures of hair, and I do keep in mind when referring guests, which salon I think will be the best fit for them depending on a few different factors.
