This has been a tumultuous year for many of us, one we are all happy to put in our collective rear view mirror. Our best chance at a better tomorrow is contingent on keeping our eyes and attention focused ahead without forgetting what this last year taught us. This year we take this time to reflect on three impactful lessons from 2020: 1. Do not take time with family and friends for granted. Live in the moment and enjoy their company. 2. Restaurants are vitally important... to the fabric of a community and the community is vitally important to the fabric of a restaurant. We were reminded of how lucky we are to be a catalyst for joy and connection. Great meals are not just defined by food & drink, ambiance & service, warmth & hospitality, but also the vibrant rooms in which they take place. 3. How important it is to work with people you enjoy and respect. We are lucky enough to also love what we do while getting the opportunity to serve others. As this year closes, with our optimism tempered knowing that tomorrow is not promised, please don’t take any of your blessings for granted. We wish each and every one of you happiness, health and the opportunity to be overwhelmed by the love of friends and family in 2021.
