It’s Wedding Season! A year ago I did a segment with @kleinfeldbridalparty. The segment was about How to include your pet on your Big Wedding Day. Due to Covid a lot of things have changed and I think it’s still possible to include your pup in your wedding but I just think it should be done at a minimum. My recommendation is to have the dog handler tested for Covid 3 to 5 days before the wedding. Most testing sites are giving your results back within three days. Second, I ...think the pup should get a bath the day before the wedding and a clean up with a waterless shampoo on the day of the wedding. There is not enough evidence to point that covid-19 lives on fur. Finally due to social distancing and high stress we all under maybe consider cutting the time the pup is included in the wedding. Wow! To my surprise I was nominated for contributor of the year. This is such an honor to be amongst these wonderful nominees who have done so much for the industry. This Barkleigh Honor nominee is dedicated to my friends and family of Black Groomer Association Facebook Group (BGA). With only 411 members, we’ve been able to contribute to our industry in such a big way. We’ve been able to highlight that, African-American Pet Professionals do exist and we can also make an impact.
