Harvest Bible Chapel Rochester, NY

I just finished up a membership interview with a couple that want to call Harvest home. When we planted this church, we had no idea they existed. And they had no idea how badly they needed Jesus. They were losing their home, and they were on the verge of losing battles with suicide. Then God sent 2 friends into their lives: Jim and Laurel West. Jim and Laurel planted Harvest with Shannon and I. They continued in relationship with the Coughlins, and labored in prayer becaus...e they knew that only God could do the miraculous work of changing their hearts. And now here we are. They've been coming to Harvest for 2 years. Jenn put her faith in Christ first, and then I had the privilege of leading Tom to Christ in my office last year when they had their first membership interview. They were baptized a few months ago. And now they are committed to making Harvest home. You can't make this stuff up. At the end of the interview, Jenn said to me, "thank you for coming here and planting this church so that this could happen to us." I'm left speechless at God's incredible ability to write these stories. God is AWESOME.

We are able t...o live and act from a place of power and victory through Jesus Christ. Today, as we reflect upon Good Friday, be encouraged to hold on to the assurance of God’s complete forgiveness and full restoration of your life. A life fully loved, fully forgiven, fully redeemed, and fully freed from sin. The most horrific death is a stunning picture of God’s love, grace, and faithfulness to us.
