Register today for February Break Baseball Camp We will be offering our February Break Baseball Camp this year. Due to COVID the camp will look different than previous years. This year we are offering two 1.5 hour sessions and each session will be limited to 18 children. With our 19,000 square foot facility, there will be plenty of room to spread out around the building. Masks will be required to be worn by all children. To minimize the number of people in the building... parents will not be allowed to stay and watch. Our complete COVID protocols will be emailed to registered campers a few days before the first day of camp. With all that being said, your child will have fun practicing and learning the game! Please don't delay in registering. With the limitation on the number of openings we expect that the camp will fill quickly February 15-19, 2021 Session I: Ages 8-10 from 9:00 am - 10:30 am Must be league age 8, 9 or 10 for summer 2021. Session II: Ages 10 - 12 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Must be league age 10, 11 or 12 for summer 2021 To register go to your esoft account, click on schedule, click on camps/classes and choose the appropriate class. The Hayner Academy Barnstormers 16u defeated Syracuse Sports Zone Academy 5-0 to capture the Champions Events Columbus Day Clash at Central Park in Schenectady. The Barnstormers finished 3-0 for the tournament outscoring their opponents 21-3. For the season the Barnstormers won two tournaments, finished in the final 4 of two others and finished with a 2020 tournament record of 12-4-1.

The Hayner Academy Barnstormers 16u won the Champions Events Hudson Valley Battle yesterday in Poughkeepsie. The Barnstormers finished 3-0-1 and defeated Fairfield County Captains 2-1 in 8 innings to capture title. Barnstormers pitchers dominated allowing 4 runs in 29 innings. Colin Maloney CG no hitter and 2 HR, Noah Marshall CG shutout, Nate Rodriguez, Zander Teator, Jeffrey Maddalone and Owen Goodridge led the way on the mound. #hayneracademybarnstormers

As per Governor Cuomo's mandate, The Sports Barn will be closed to all business effective immediately. Private lessons currently scheduled and prepaid through Sunday, March 29 will be canceled and the money put back on your account. Lessons currently scheduled for March 30 and beyond will remain on the schedule pending further developments. We appreciate your patience and understanding through this difficult time for everyone. We will provide updates to our baseball and so...ftball community as this current situation continues to evolve. FEBRUARY BREAK RECAP This week was full of fun as many of our players learned to better their game! One especially great highlight was having pro player and employee Justin Yurchak speak to our campers. Justin heads off to Florida for spring training with the LA Dodgers this week.
