Henrietta Senior Center

A year ago today...Since the start of Covid-19 in March of 2020 our doors closed to our seniors to come in and enjoy a hot meal with friends from our lunch club 60 nutrition program through Monroe County. The Senior Center, couldn't see folks going with out a meal or food for such a length of time so they came up with the great idea to serve curbside lunch pickup. Now called "Grab n Go" meal program. The dedicated staff now serves about 280 breakfast and lunches on Monday, T...uesday and Wednesday by reservations only. So today we thank you, our community for your donations, our seniors for your consistent support, for the staff at the senior center and recreation department for your continuing work and not giving up!! We hope to get back to normalcy soon and can't wait to see everyone.

People age 75 and over will primarily be vaccinated at pharmacies and other sites that are part of the retail network. Use the online tool https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov to find a location. Beginning at 4:00pm on Monday, January 11, the COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline will open for scheduling vaccination appointments for eligible New Yorkers: 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829).
