Meet the newest member of our team, Marawan. Marawan has been flying for about 14 years now and joins our team of flight instructors flying out of our South Albany and Rome schools. Marawan’s love of flying began when his father would bring him to airshows at Schenectady county airport and as he says, it was history from there. Marawan completed his two year degree in Aviation Science, graduating with his commercial pilot’s certification from SCCC. He currently works for Pi...edmont airlines and hopes to fly for them someday. If you ask him why he loves flying he’ll tell you, "I love flying because it’s the only place in the world in which I feel completely free and can enjoy the sights from the world above. I enjoy teaching and building a professional relationship with all of my clients. Flying is an amazing mix of physics and mathematics combined with chemistry between instructor and student. It ultimately produces a great pilot! I enjoy teaching others the importance of becoming a safe pilot. Watching students learn and become licensed aviators is a reward in itself."
