Today we take a moment to honor the life and legacy of The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. We encourage you to watch the powerful "I Have a Dream" speech (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yOBncaiito), as well as the ending of his final speech from April 3, 1968 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oehry1JC9Rk) in which he implores the United States to be the nation it claims to be. We aren't there yet. There is work to be done. Today is an opportunity to reflect on his vision, and what we can each do to help create a more equitable and just world for all. "You are not obligated to complete the task, but neither are you free to desist from it." (Pirkei Avot, Ethics of our Fathers, 2:21)
