Today we take a moment to honor the life and legacy of The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. We encourage you to watch the powerful "I Have a Dream" speech (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yOBncaiito), as well as the ending of his final speech from April 3, 1968 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oehry1JC9Rk) in which he implores the United States to be the nation it claims to be. We aren't there yet. There is work to be done. Today is an opportunity to reflect on his vision, and what we can each do to help create a more equitable and just world for all. It has been two years since a gunman entered the Tree of LIfe Congregation in Pittsburgh and took the lives of 11 precious congregants. Today we take time to remember those lost.
