We replaced a pair of dated French doors with a sleek and beautiful three-panel sliding unit from LaCantina. This completely transformed the fifth floor access to the roof terrace of this West 85th Street townhouse. We also installed new double-hung windows throughout the project. Some additional peeks inside the East 89th Street project, a former mansion turned art gallery Commissioned by Archer Milton Huntington in 1913 and built by renowned architect Ogden Codman, this dignified 40-foot wide, 6-story residence is graced with a handsome, rusticated limestone base and tan brick facade, piano nobile with bracketed limestone balcony, wrought-iron railings, French doors, and limestone modillion cornice. We installed historically accurate custom mahogany clipped corner and arched topped windows, doors, and storefront from Caoba. They look perfect with the cast iron facade, slat shingled mansard roof, segmented pediments, and Ionic and Corinthian columns.
