Your HFD is currently in the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Route 7 and East Hoosick Rd. Please use caution in the area.

Your HFD has returned from a single-vehicle fire on Route 7 in the area of Tibbitt's Forest. Route 7 remained closed for about 30 minutes while crews brought the fire under control. Thanks to Pittstown-Fire-Rescue, West Hoosick Fire Department, Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad & New York State Police for the assistance. No injuries reported & Route 7 has since re-opened.

Hopefully we can get a couple more training exercises in before she comes down!!!

Today, HFD responded to a single vehicle accident involving a residence. The driver of the vehicle was transported by Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad.

Early Monday morning your HFD responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on Route 22 north of 7. Upon arrival, we found a vehicle on the guardrail and debris on the road. The driver was transported via Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad.

Your HFD just returned from a single motorcycle traffic accident in Tibbitt’s Forest. The rider was transported with minor injuries.
