Short tulips this year call for creative packaging The mild winter was enjoyable for us but unfortunately not so much for tulips. Tulips need an extended period of cold temperatures in order to grow properly. Field grown tulips all over the world are experiencing shorter than normal stems. This super cute envelope flower holder was perfect for tulips with bulbs still attached. My customer will be able to plant them so she can enjoy them for years to come
