Members of Hopewell Care joined EQuality HomeCare Co-op, and Via Verde to facilitate a workshop at the National Domestic Workers Alliance Assembly in Las Vegas on what its like to start and maintain a worker cooperative. We had a great turnout, so exciting to learn about the other NDWA affiliates exploring cooperative development with their members!

This morning we joined Hand in Hand: The Domestic Employers Network and Hopewellcare Childcare Cooperative to visit Council Member Laurie Cumbo urging her to su...pport Paid Personal Time legislation. Passing Paid Personal Time will allow low-wage workers, mostly immigrant workers and women of color, to take up to 10 days paid vacation.
