Hospice of the North Country

Regardless of the COVID pandemic, Hospice of the North Country still has volunteer needs. We continue to offer and provide support to our patients and families. At this time, we are looking to increase and diversify our volunteer resource pool to better meet the needs of our patient population. We would like to increase the number of volunteers available during the day, as well as increase our male volunteer population to help support our requests by our Hospice patients and ...families. We are looking for kind-hearted and compassionate souls. We would like to find: Individuals available to commit during the day, with regular availability; individuals with a clean and valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willing to travel to rural areas of the county; individuals in good health and able to wear masks during patient and staff interaction, and individuals over the age of 18 years of age and a clean background. Do you know someone that would be perfect for this role? Volunteers offer support for such things as: Caring presence/socialization; Errands; Light housekeeping Light maintenance/ lawn care; Reading; and/or respite No experience required.
