Horse friends! Meet "Lakota" she is looking to be adopted and given the opportunity to have a forever home in her late years of retirement. Lakota is a 30 yr old Palomino mare in good health! Her senior years do not seem to be slowing her down. Contact us or the Finger Lakes spca for more information.

Look at these two sweeties!! Both are available for adoption through the Finger Lakes SPCA. They desperately would love to find their "person" and a forever home!! Callie, a 16 yr old paint mare has potential to be a nice riding horse! She can be an anxious mare but is positive in learning new things and enjoys being handled! Angel, a 7 yr old Buckskin mare with loads of potential and has a bright future under saddle. She is the most curious mare, which makes for a love of le...arning and experiencing new things. Both, due to a lack of handling and learning in their past need to be placed in homes with a level of experience to be safe and teach them new things. Beginner homes would not be the best fit. If you can not adopt, but still would like to help... arranging a sponsorship donation towards training would be of great benefit towards Callie, Angel or any of the other equines in the care of the FLHS See more
