The first day of 2021 feels good. The sun is out, the air is crisp & still. There is warmness to it that bring optimism & hope. It’s a good day to be alive, it’s a good day to share love & gratitude since we are so fortunate to have so much in our lives. It’s also a good day to remember everything we may have to leave behind. But those things should only make us stronger. So today let’s raise a glass, and make toast to the year ahead. Together, United in a common cause, In ...a better world & better future for ourselves and everyone we love & hold dear. We deserve better & it is our obligation to make those dreams reality. Even though we needed to cancel our Holiday Open House, Mrs. Claus took time out of her busy Christmas schedule to make a quick trip down to the farm and read everyone a story. We are incredibly grateful to all the families that have visited us for many many years and have grown up listening to Mrs. Claus read her favorite Christmas stories. We will miss hosting everyone tomorrow & we know you will miss the cookies This is the first time in over 50 years that th...is weekend won’t have our Holiday Open House on the schedule, we will miss this family tradition but look forward to being able to host everyone again. Most of the prep work is done for the concrete floor next week. We are doing a radiant heat floor in this greenhouse to increase productivity. Next we need to lay out the concrete wire & secure all our heat tubing before the pour. #greenhouselife #alwaysgrowing #spacetogrow

It was roofing day here at the farm. A really beautiful fall day for roofing. Some long overdue shingles & plywood are getting replaced to keep everything nice & dry. There are endless projects around the farm to keep us busy. #fallprojects #farmlife #roofingday

It’s hard to get a good picture of this crystal clear divider shield but they really are so well made and heavy duty. We finally got to take down all the greenhouse plastic we had around the registers. Our friends Empire Technical Fabrication made these plexiglass dividers for the store to our specifications and they even etched our Sabellico guy into the glass. The 2020 outdoor growing season is coming to an end. There is still some time to plant trees, shrubs, bulbs, perennials, etc. and as you know we are busy planning & ordering for next spring. We are always planning at least 2 seasons ahead. Many of our suppliers are reporting shortages and sold out items industry wide. As we plan for an upcoming season with even more unknowns than we experienced this year, we thought it would be great to get some feedback from the community on your thoughts and desires for you homes & gardens for the upcoming growing season. **Fall Farm update** We’ve got a nice selection of everyone’s fall decorating favorites. Mums are moving fast this year so don’t wait to get what you want for the garden. We’ve got a nice selection of mums, pumpkins, straw, cornstalks, gourds, spring blooming bulbs, & fall decorating favorites. Our nursery is still well stocked with many beautiful trees, shrubs & perennials. This is a great time to do some planting so it’s ready to take off growing next spring. ... Our flower shop is back up and running. We are really enjoying the renovation to the florist space. It has been great getting back into the rhythm of creating special floral creations for the community. We are also busy preparing for the upcoming holiday season. Our elves will be busy creating our custom one of a kind holiday decorations. The trees, wreaths, gifts, tributes, will be coming out soon. We are building some new greenhouse space to improve our growing facilities and bring everyone even better plants for next season. We are implementing a company wide POS system that will improve our inventory tracking, customer service, & overall business efficiency. We are very excited about this improvement to the farm because we truly see this as the best way to serve you better. We wanted to express our appreciation to our community again. It has been an incredibly difficult year for everyone. Your continued support & love makes all the hard work worth it. We are so deeply grateful for everyone who continues to make our farm successful. For our staff to our incredible customers, Thank you. It has been our honor to serve this community for these past 70 years and we look forward to the future.
