Terese and Dick send Thanksgiving greetings, with heartfelt wishes for a safe and happy holiday!

We know this weather couldn't last forever, but there was something wonderful about lessons in the back ring in 70 degree weather in November... Pics from this morning's class.

Since the HMS opened in the Jurassic Age, we have NEVER been able to hay in November. Until this year. Take a look at this beautiful wagon of green!

The Huntington Meadows Stable community is invited to participate in a Thanksgiving Food Drive for two local families who are in need. We are collecting non-perishable foods and Wegmans' gift cards for two families in our area who have been identified by our local school administrators as in need. To protect their privacy, we will not know the identity of these families. The principal from their school will deliver the donations for us. In order to participate, all you need... to do is cut a feather or two from the turkey on the table in the cabin and bring those items to the farm. Place your donations in the large cardboard box by November 15. If you purchase gift cards from Wegmans, please give those directly to Terese or Lenka and we will hold them until delivery time. We will keep a running total of items donated, but food items will be taken from the box and stored in the house for sanitary reasons! Thank you in advance for your participation. To the families who are struggling to pay bills and feed their children, this will be a welcome relief.

Today was just about the most perfect weather for a horse show that you could imagine! Thanks to all the sponsors, the co-hosting stables, the parents, the volunteers, the riders, and especially all the wonderful horses that made today's IEA show so much fun. (The photo shows the early morning course walk)

Tomorrow (Sunday 9-27) is the HMS IEA show. We want to take this opportunity to give a shout out to all the sponsors who have supported the HMS this year.

Thank you to all who made the ESRAS aND NWNY shows a success, even in these very different and difficult times. The weather was perfect, the horses were wonderful, and we had a great time! We hope you did too!!

Lots of helpers have painted jumps over the past two weeks. We are almost done and now looking forward to the ESRAS show on 9-19 and the NWNY show on 9-20. See you there!

There will be a jump painting and show prep party this weekend, Saturday, September 5 and Sunday September 6 from 10-4 each day. There are many jumps left to paint and not much time! It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend, so come spend some time with your friends and help HMS get ready for our shows. Please let Terese know if you can come, we hope to see you there!

Here's a new sight at the barn! Matt Blood built a stone garden around the horse head sculpture. It is a beautiful touch at the entrance to the farm.

The HMS ERAS and NWNY horse shows are NOT going to be held on June 20 & 21. They are going to be rescheduled for later in the season. As soon as those dates are set, we will share them here!
